As a knife lover, I value the satisfaction when a knife performs well. This satisfaction is something I want to share with you too.
The longevity and performance of a knife doesn't depend alone on the manufacturing process.
In fact, that is just the beginning.
So, how do you make a knife last generations?
- Manufacturing Warranty - With every knife comes a two year warranty. If you're not happy with your knife for whatever reason, let me know and we can work out a solution. Maybe that is an adjustment to the design, or maybe you need a different knife that better fits your needs. I want to make sure that you experience the satisfaction of a well-performing knife.
- Free Sharpening for Life - Another one of my passions is sharpening knives. This is a vital process in keeping the knife performing well. Sit and drink a coffee as I sharpen your knife for you.
- Tips and tricks - Follow these to keep your knife healthy and functioning to the best of it's ability:
- After using the knife, wash and dry it by hand, never in a dishwasher!
- For storage the best for protection of the edge would be a knife magnet or a knife block. Basically anything that keeps the edge of the knife from touching other knives or anything that might be harder than steel.
- Cutting is best to be done on a wooden or plastic cutting board. Stone, glass ceramic or stainless steel will dull the edge immediately. After cutting when you scrape the cut goods of the board, use the back of the knife and not the edge.
- In case of not using the knife regally, best protect it from rusting with a coat of oil. I tend to like Ballistol, it is food grade and has good rust prevention abilities.
